Il Casale is situated in the green Umbrian countryside, on the rolling hills that surround the Trasimeno valley.
As a gentle breeze cools the panoramic terraces, guests can enjoy breath-taking views of the towns located around the lake, including Castiglione Del Lago, with its ancient tower, and the medieval fortress on Polvese island.
The interior is characterised by the evocative atmosphere of the Umbrian farmhouses, with wooden ceiling beams, characteristic cotto floors and a homely fireplace, where traditional dishes are cooked over the embers in winter. |

Signora Giuseppina, the owner and chef, takes care of the cooking. For over twenty years she has dedicated herself with passion to carrying forward the tradition of typical Umbrian cookery, working exclusively with local and seasonal ingredients, following recipes handed down through her family.
These principals extend beyond the kitchen: Il Casale is a family-run business, welcoming guests with its warm, congenial atmosphere.
